Loïc Peoc'h

French photographer and filmmaker, Loïc Peoc'h pursues an approach to image-making in which technical mastery is in constant dialogue with what cannot be fully controlled. Rooted in Fine Arts, his work remains attentive to bodies, materials, and what resists the frame.

Early recognition of his work led him to collaborate with major houses and iconic figures, while continuing to pursue a demanding personal practice. In his work, the image always emerges from a time of observation, listening, and precision, allowing what cannot be fully controlled to surface.

His current project, HAIR, is a book and exhibition conceived in collaboration with Danish hair artist Annesofie Begtrup. Started in 2024, the work explores hair as sculpture, concealment, and presence. The hair is never retouched. Every strand is exactly as Annesofie placed it. The book and exhibition open at the Rencontres d'Arles in July 2026.
